Belgian Saison

A cider true to the Belgian farmhouse saison style. Made with organic orange peel, bergamot, star anise and other aromatics of the style.   It is very aromatic with the citrus, star anise and bergamot coming through in layers on a subtle backbone of aromatic hops.  The predominance of each of these aromatic and flavor notes seem to be ranked differently by different people.  While each is definitely there, no single one predominates or overpowers. It was easy to arrive at our blend of these aromatics in that they have been used for hundreds of years in Belgian saisons—we just needed to make sure we didn’t overdo them.  Citrusy, floral, and thoroughly refreshing is the short description of this cider.
