Shekinah King

Shekinah King is from Dodgeville, WI. At a young age, she developed a love for music singing in church.

In 2015, with the support of friends and family, she decided to branch out and follow a crazy dream, to have a music career.

Today you can find her singing at events, restaurants, and weddings. Shekinah played and sang over 100 shows in 2019 and sings with the Madison-based blues band, Alpha Romeos. She takes requests from a wide variety of decades and styles, you’ll be sure to enjoy her enthusiastic spin on your favorite songs.

Live music is played in the Greenhouse, a semi-outdoors area with roll-up doors.

The Cider Farm

The Cider Farm offers ciders made with organic, true cider apples grown near Mineral Point, Wisconsin. The ciders pair beautifully with the made from ‘scratch’ small plates featuring locally and organically grown ingredients.

The Cider Farm has been pleased to have been part of Dane County’s efforts to reduce the impact of the pandemic and are now pleased to see that vaccinations have allowed a return to somewhat normal functioning. The Cider Farm does not require face masks inside the restaurant. Masks are welcomed and social distancing is still encouraged. Our sanitation polices held throughout the pandemic will remain in place indefinitely.

We encourage everyone to receive the vaccine so that all can feel comfortable in going out in public.  The greenhouse and patio offer open-air dining. Our interior space also features roll up garage doors for a more open environment.  We hope these attributes will add to your comfort level when visiting The Cider Farm.
