Cider Class: Exploring Cider Varieties from Around the World and Understanding the Evaluation Process
Exploring Cider Varieties from Around the World and Understanding the Evaluation Process
In this class, you will learn to evaluate and describe ciders by sampling varieties from different regions of the world. As you sample these ciders, you will explore their unique histories, the types of apples used, fermentation and aging methods, and serving techniques. The ciders sampled will be sourced from Europe, America, and other regions. This session will help you develop a cider vocabulary and gain an understanding of your preferences and the reasons behind them when it comes to diverse ciders. You may discover some new favorites! This experience will deepen your appreciation of the world of ciders and improve your ability to select ciders that you truly enjoy.
